Masks Then and Now

Masking up is just one of the aspects of the Spanish Flu that has parallels with what people are currently facing during the 2020 COVID-19 Pandemic. During the spring of 2020 and the initial outbreak of COVID-19,  early contradictory information about wearing masks  followed by mask-wearing requirements resulted in news articles and opinion pieces that echo back to issues of "flu mask" wearing in 1918.
