- My video is a one-hour time-lapse of cultured neurons acquired with a confocal microscope. The green/white coloring is a fluorescent molecule used to mark developing synapses. The magenta is a fluorescent fusion of Kirrel3, a cell adhesion molecule involved in synapse formation.
