Back of card is captioned, "The Great Salt Lake Cut-off extends from Ogden to Lucin a distance of 102.9 miles, crossing over the north end of the Great salt Lake. It was finished Nov. 13 1903 after 1 1/2 years of effort at a cost of $4,500,000.00. It saves S. P. R. R. Co. 43.8 miles of distance, 3,919 degrees of curvature, and 1515 feet of grade."
