In Work, Wellness and the Great Outdoors, we explored the interconnectedness of work, wellness, and Utah’s outdoor environment. Students examined their career goals, discovered personal wellness strategies, and played in the great outdoors of Utah. We planned our capstone project “Influences of Winter Sports on Utah: History, Culture, Olympics, and Sustainability” to be an interactive display in the Marriott Library, with floor decals, displays demonstrating the uniqueness of Utah’s snow, samples of ski gear throughout time, pictures of Olympic athletes, and more. We hope you enjoy our virtual display that examines the same topics in a different way than we imagined. Our class would like to give special thanks to Anna Neatrour, Digital Initiatives Librarian at the Marriott Library, who provided expertise and support for this new format.
