The Salt Lake Voter was a newsletter created by the League of Women Voters of Utah announcing events and issue updates, including those related to education, social services, and the environment. The title page refers to the LWVU participation in Project 2000, a series of documentaries by KUTV about growth issues in Utah.
Young's canvas sheets document her work in surveying Voting District 98 residents and includes information such as names, addresses, party affiliation, voter registration status, and personal notations such as the resident's occupation or relationship to other residents (father of, widow of, etc).
The National Organization for Women (NOW) organized an Equal Rights Amendment (ERA) “missionary project” in Utah to garner support for the passage of the ERA in Utah. This pamphlet encouraged members of the LDS Church to join efforts to convince the LDS Church leadership to support the ratification of the Equal Rights Amendment by the State of Utah.
