Eliza Diggins: Rhodes Scholar Finalist
Eliza Diggins graduated from the University of Utah with a double major in applied mathematics and physics. Eliza splits her time researching as a theoretical astrophysicist and a mathematical epidemiologist. Beyond academia, Eliza’s passion lies in improving accessibility and advocacy for the LGBTQ+ and neurodivergent community. In this interview, Eliza shares her experience navigating the competitive field of physics as a transgender woman. She speaks to the importance of building supportive communities, and improving accessibility and representation of minorities in STEM.
