Visual Description
-
A two-tiered seat upholstered in cream-colored boucle is supported by smooth, organically shaped, maple legs. The smaller bean-shaped seat is supported above the larger by rooting wood members that push down the upholstery upon connection. The larger bottom seat is bisected into two lobe shapes, creating a crotch in the middle of the seat, and emphasizing the bilateral symmetry of the chair. The chair legs are intricately carved, arching to form both the back leg and front leg in one piece. Maple supports are reminiscent of everglades or animal bones; pale, smooth, with iridescent highlights. The maple supports are complimented by the creamy, knobby upholstery.
