Visual Description
-
Dark blue wool needle- and wet-felted in the shape of the Great Salt Lake at its lowest level. A line of embroidery denotes where the rail line crosses the lake and divides the water into two separate colors and parts. The colors match the thread used in the artist book by the same artist and there is a small embroidered image of the historic high level of the lake on what would be the Southern half of the needle felted lake.
