Unknown Prospect is the digital archive of the Field Studio Geontological Survey (FSGS), a design research collective assembling and extending Ochre dimensions. It catalogs Ochre bodies assembled in FSGS field operations and their respective pigments, swatches, and products.
The title, Unknown Prospect, comes from the Mineral Repource Data System (MRDS)—maintained by the United States Geological Survey—in which mining claims without a name are simply listed as "unknown prospect" in addition to their MRDS indentifying number.
