always figured this was their business
and we knew about it
anyway, even gave reasons
for the cheating.
Over at Temple
Mountain we knew the ore
would run say
sixty-hundredths, but we got
thirty-hundredths
out of it. But we were making
a good profit so we went along
in its entirety.
When we were making
$10,000 a month, rather than say, "Well,
because you are cheating us
we're going to quit,"
we stayed. I'd rather get half
of what a good seam is worth
than mine other places and get 200%
of what the empty’s worth.
100% of nothing
is nothing.
