Voices from the Field

THE LAW

All true wealth has its origin in land.

And the way you distribute its benefits
has always been
fundamentally definite.

                                      In other words,
I don't think we have a society

capable of spreading affluence
to all its people. The gap

between rich and poor is wider
than it's ever been. This concept

of rugged individualism and production
has brought us where we are.

If you want to study
what makes a nation
interesting, meet with a local lawyer
and he can tell you how his government

permits its people access
to the land.
